Course overview
To gain an understanding around working in the Adult Care Sector and knowledge of the care principles, the role of a Care Worker, understanding of Duty of Care and safeguarding adults, Health & Safety in the work place
With hundreds of vacancies available participants will have a guaranteed interview at the end of the training.
The training is remote, online with a competency-based assessment. IT support is available where necessary and additional 1-1 support if required. Training will include employer input to explain what it’s like working in the industry and highlight current vacancies in West Yorkshire.
The training is suitable for unemployed and employed learners looking to either access the health and social care sector or upskill to improve their career progression opportunities.
