Course overview

This short course will provide individuals with the knowledge and skills required to work safely on Electric/Hybrid vehicles whilst carrying out diagnostic, testing and repair activities.

This may include vehicles that may have or had damage to their high energy/electrical system, and includes carrying out repairs on high energy electrical systems, and recording information and making suitable recommendations.

As a result, individuals successfully completing this course will acquire significant core knowledge and skills and the ability to remove and replace Electric/Hybrid vehicle high voltage components.

This course is suitable for individuals who may encounter electric/hybrid vehicles within a routine maintenance situation or individuals who are interested in developing their skills within this area.

Courses will run multiple times each month from October 2020. Please enquire for dates.

 

How will I study?

You will learn through group-based delivery of practical and theory based skills. Safety measures will be in place based on government guidance at the time of the course.
