Course overview

The training session offered in this project will provide instruction and guidance on producing an engineered product from the planning and design stage through to completion.

Learners can take advantage of being able to use the college’s milling machines, lathe machines, fabrication and welding equipment.

Further to the practical training session, we will also look in detail at the different career opportunities that are available within engineering and how these can be accessed.

The session will conclude with a presentation of the final product and a summary of the skills developed.

This course is aimed at those currently in engineering sector interested in gaining additional skills and progression and those interested in moving into the engineering sector.
