The Cisco Cybersecurity Essentials course will provide participants with an understanding of cybercrime, security principles, technologies and the procedures used to defend networks.

The course is certificated and provides participants with additional skills needing to work and operate within networking-related professions, or for those considering a career in digital security, a fast growing field where skilled professionals are in demand.

Upon completion individuals may be able to progress within their current role or consider a move into a digital security role.

How will I study?

Various teaching methods will be adapted to need including tutor-led, group support, online material provided and hands-on practical activities.

Please note: You will need to have a computer capable of running Virtualbox and have at least 50Gb of disc space with minimum of 4Gb of memory but more preferable 8Gb or 16GB.

Monday evenings from 6-8pm

There will be an online exam as part of this course
