Course description:

This is an ideal course for individuals working or prepared to work in a customer service role within the construction industry or where using a telephone is a part of their role

This is an accredited course, which is divided into two units.

Unit 1:

Understanding the principles of customer service in a construction company, how to meet customers’ expectations, appropriate behaviour and ways of communicating, how to deal with conflict and problem customers.

Unit 2:

How to create a customer-service-facing CV, where/how to search and apply online for CS jobs, top tips and techniques to ensure successful interviews and safeguarding your references.

Knowledge learnt in this accredited course will assist in a wide range of pathways, roles and development within the Construction industry. It allows candidates to progress into employment or to the following Highfield qualifications:

Highfield Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Customer Service

Highfield Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service

Highfield Level 2 for Customer Service Practitioners

Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service

Impact on Learners

Upon completion of the course the learners will be able to work in a Customer Service role within the Construction industry or any other sector where telephone is a key part of the role.

Can lead the learner into further Customer Service qualifications such as the list above.

Course Entry Requirements

No previous qualifications needed to enrol onto this accredited course. All learners are required full commitment to attend the 2-day course and complete the full unit.

How will I learn?

Delivery will be online via Microsoft Teams. Learners will participate in teacher-led discussions, questioning and group work (where appropriate). Qualification will be assessed by a multiple-choice assessment. Feedback will be given to all learners using an e-learning plan.
