Course description: An introduction to the digital sector and the roles within it – Software Development, Digital Infrastructure, Web Development, Digital Marketing and Data Analysis. An introduction to ‘Agile’ and the ethos, along with developing skills in problem solving and team working.

The course will include group sessions, one-one support and remote learning. Learners will be expected to commit to at least three hours per week in addition to the sessions.

On completion of the course, you will be able to progress your learning within the following specialisms:

  • Software Development
  • Digital Infrastructure
  • Web Development
  • Digital Marketing
  • Data Analysis

Or you may be able to progress to an entry level job within the digital sector.

Course description: The ‘CISCO IT Essentials’ course is aimed at those already employed in an IT role. The course will develop the skills needed to help meet the growing demand for entry-level information and communication technology professionals.
The course will introduce fundamental skills in the areas of installation, configuration, troubleshooting (computers and mobile devices), identifying common threats and common problem resolution. The course will inspire confidence and is designed to challenge the individual, be relevant to their working day and provide a steer towards further and higher qualifications.

Course description: The course ‘Digital Data Analysis incorporating an introduction to coding’ recognises the importance of data analytics in the workplace. The course will work from a foundation of strong spreadsheet skills and develop confidence in developing functionality skills by using programming techniques.
