Course description: The ‘CISCO IT Essentials’ course is aimed at those already employed in an IT role. The course will develop the skills needed to help meet the growing demand for entry-level information and communication technology professionals.
The course will introduce fundamental skills in the areas of installation, configuration, troubleshooting (computers and mobile devices), identifying common threats and common problem resolution. The course will inspire confidence and is designed to challenge the individual, be relevant to their working day and provide a steer towards further and higher qualifications.

Course description: The Cisco IT Essentials course could be an exciting first step that leads to a new career within the digital sector, or enables you to further develop your career in this industry.

The course will offer a hands-on, career-oriented learning experience to help develop fundamental computer skills.
This course has an emphasis on practical activities to help develop fundamental skills around computer hardware, mobile device hardware, software, and concepts of networking and security.

Individuals will learn to: install, configure, and troubleshoot computers and mobile devices; identify common security threats like phishing and spoofing; and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills using real equipment.
